Why Was My Payout Rejected?

Here are the most common reasons a payout may be rejected and what to do next.


1. Name Mismatch

The name in your "Pay To Name" field must exactly match the name verified during your KYC check. If they don't match, your payout will be held.

Fix: Update your Pay To Name in payout settings to match your verified name exactly. If your name has changed, contact [email protected] and we'll send you a secure link to complete a new KYC verification.


2. Invalid PayPal Email

The PayPal email you submitted couldn't be verified as an active account.

Fix: Double-check for typos and make sure the email matches an active PayPal account in good standing.


3. DSP or Rights Holder Flag

A copyright claim or compliance notice was raised against one of your releases while your payout was being processed. We're required to hold associated royalties until it's resolved.

Fix: Our compliance team will contact you with details. Please respond promptly.


4. Artificial Streaming Detected

Streams on your releases have been flagged as unqualified by a DSP. These do not generate legitimate royalties.

Fix: Contact [email protected] if you believe this is an error. Please note this may also trigger an account review.


5. Below Minimum Threshold

Our system automatically checks your balance against the minimum payout amount. Your balance hasn't reached this threshold yet.

Fix: No action needed — resubmit once your balance has accumulated enough.


6. Incomplete Payout Information

One or more required fields in your payout profile are missing.

Fix: Go to payout settings, complete all required fields, and resubmit.


7. Account Under Review

Your account has been flagged for review. Payouts are paused until this is resolved.

Fix: Check your email for a message from our compliance team and respond directly.


8. Tax Information Required

Additional tax documentation is needed before we can process your payout.

Fix: Our team will contact you with details of what's required.


9. System Error

A technical issue occurred on our end — this is rare.

Fix: You'll hear from us within 36 hours. No action needed from you.
